We’ve kept these three days super fun but also full of education. Each day has a career theme, so riders get to learn a bit about keeping horses happy and healthy as well as fit in riding and pony fun!

 

December 16th: Vet Day

December 17th: Farrier Day

December 18th: Bodyworker Day

There will be activities, riding, games and so much more!

January 18th: Barn Helper Day
Ever wondered what it’s like to care for horses? Learn the daily ins and outs of barn life, with riding, grooming and farm skills!

​

January  19th: Wild West Day
Saddle up, partner! The sheriff has left town and the ranch needs YOU. Get ready for a day of riding, adventures and fun. Ponies will be fed, mischief will be made and legends will be born.

January  20th: Gymkhana Day
A day full of laughter, ponies, and friendly competition!
Spend some time pampering the ponies and compete in fun mini competitions designed for all skill levels.

We do all sorts of fun activities in our holiday programs, consistently changing it up so each day is full of new learning and games. 

​

Each day includes getting ponies ready and riding (unless weather does not allow) whether its ridden games, adventures, obstacles, scavenger hunt or even bareback.

 

We fill in our other time with-

Craft activities (like decorating horse shoes, making pony treats and at Christmas we even made pony tree decorations!)

Games (Can never say no to a fast paced game to get energy out or Pictionary to learn new horse terms)

Learning new skills (like tying, leading or making feeds)

Building knowledge (from horse colours to how a horse thinks there is so much to learn!)

Fun farm activities (never a bad day to pick some watercress for the ponies or help fix a fence!)

and can't forget the most important time of the day lunch time!
